1. Under normal driving conditions, check the brake shoes once every 5,000 kilometers. Not only the remaining thickness should be checked, but also the wear of the shoes, whether the wear level on both sides is the same, whether the return position is free, etc. If abnormal conditions are found, they must be dealt with immediately.

2. Brake shoes are generally composed of two parts: iron lining and friction material. Do not wait until the friction material is worn away before replacing the shoes. For example, the front brake shoes of Jetta cars have a new thickness of 14 mm, and the replacement limit thickness is 7 mm, including more than 3 mm of iron lining thickness and nearly 4 mm of friction material thickness. Some vehicles have brake shoe alarm function. Once the wear limit is reached, the instrument will alarm to remind you to replace the shoes. The shoes that have reached the use limit must be replaced. Even if they can still be used for a period of time, the braking effect will be reduced and the driving safety will be affected.

3. When replacing, replace the brake pads provided by the original spare parts. Only in this way can Electric Golf Cart make the braking effect between the brake pads and the brake disc very good and the wear is very small.

4. When replacing the shoe, you must use special tools to push the brake cylinder back. Do not use other crowbars to force it back, which may cause the brake caliper guide screw to bend and the brake pad to get stuck.

5. After the replacement, you must step on the brakes several times to eliminate the gap between the shoe and the brake disc, which will cause the foot to not brake and easily cause accidents.

6. After the brake shoe is replaced, it needs to be run-in for 200 kilometers to achieve the best braking effect. The newly replaced shoe must be driven with caution.
